Barrington Stage Company, an award-winning professional theatre company located in the heart of the Berkshires, is seeking two Stage Management Production Assistants to join our team in Pittsfield, MA.

JOB OVERVIEW
The Stage Management Production Assistant provides critical support to the Stage Management team throughout the rehearsal and production process. This role assists in maintaining rehearsal schedules, tracking production elements, and providing essential deck support during performances to ensure a safe and efficient production.
REQUIREMENTS
Collaborate closely with the Production Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Managers to maintain rehearsal room schedules.
Track props, costumes, and script changes accurately throughout the rehearsal process.
Assist in creating and updating necessary paperwork for backstage tracking and run sheets.
Provide on-deck support during technical rehearsals and performances for the Stage Crew and Stage Management team.
Manage stage management inventory, including purchasing, ordering, and tracking departmental expenses.
Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized work environment in all rehearsal and performance spaces.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior stage management experience is required; familiarity with Equity (AEA) guidelines is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite for administrative and tracking tasks.
Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate backstage environments in low-light conditions.
Knowledge of other technical production areas is beneficial.
Must be comfortable working with students and volunteers.
