Responsibilities:
The Acquisition Specialist will support Barrow Wise's Federal Agency project and perform the following duties:
- Perform all pre-award and post-award contracting support functions with direction from supported official
- Meet critical dates/milestones for contract pre/post-award actions and source selection
- Develop contract actions include, but are not limited to, contract award, contract modification (e.g., exercise of options), and contract close-outs
- Draft acquisition/contract documentation for supported official(s); Documents include but are not limited to requirement package documentation, briefing slides, Acquisition Plan (AP), Business/Contract Clearance form(s), Request for Proposal/Quotation (RFP/RFQ), and contract ("award")
- Review all documentation as required by the supported official
- Maintain and retain contract file documentation
- Perform Pre-award functions include but are not limited to conducting market research, coordinating with stakeholders (e.g., Small Business Government Representative), soliciting requirements, drafting evaluation of Offeror's proposal(s), drafting decision documents, publicizing contract actions, and drafting awards
- Perform Post-award functions include but are not limited to contract/file administration, modifications, and contract closeout
- Perform duties using all contract types
- Provide purchase card management
An Ideal Candidate has:
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- 1 year of contracting experience in the Federal government
