The Store Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of store operations, including leading a team, driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering outstanding customer service. This individual plays a key leadership role in building a performance-driven culture that aligns with Batteries Plus' mission and values.
Responsibilities

- →Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing team.
- →Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
- →Foster a positive and productive team environment.
- →Sales & Customer Service:
- →Meet or exceed sales and profitability goals.
- →Ensure every customer receives outstanding service through all touchpoints.
- →Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- →Store Operations:
- →Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and compliance.
- →Maintain accurate records for sales, labor, scheduling, and inventory.
- →Ensure proper execution of safety and security procedures.
- →Financial Management:
- →Monitor and control expenses to meet or exceed budget goals.
- →Accurately process daily transactions and bank deposits.
- →Utilize reports and KPIs to identify areas of improvement.
- →Technical Services:
- →Support and oversee technical services such as device repair and battery testing/installation.
- →Ensure all team members are properly trained on technical services and safety protocols.
Requirements
~1 min read- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)
- 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
- Technical aptitude with interest in electronics, repair, or automotive a plus
