Batteries Plus is seeking a highly motivated, full-time Warehouse Lead to join our dynamic operations team in Anchorage, AK. If you are a proactive leader with a passion for logistics, efficiency, and team development, this is your opportunity to drive your career forward.
 
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Pay: $21.00 – $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrued based on hours worked to support your personal time.
    • Year 1: 40 hours
    • Year 2: 60 hours
    • Year 3+: 80 hours
  • Work-Life Balance: Consistent Monday through Friday schedule (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) including a 30-minute lunch break. No weekends required.

Core Responsibilities
  • Inventory Control: Meticulously track inventory levels and conduct quality control checks, including voltage testing on backstocked products.
  • Order Fulfillment: Organize incoming customer orders and prepare internal stock data for accurate reordering.
  • Logistics Coordination: Build, shrink-wrap, and secure battery pallets for shipment, while coordinating logistics and deliveries across the state of Alaska.
  • Equipment Operations: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks 
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
  • Local Delivery Management: Personally operate company vehicles to perform prompt local deliveries to commercial clients and throughout the Anchorage & Wasilla area
Candidate Qualifications
  • Driving Record: Clean driving record is strictly required.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to regularly lift, move, and maneuver up to 55 lbs safely.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and coordinate with freight partners.
  • Professional Mindset: Strong organizational habits, a safety-first attitude, and a natural ability to lead by example.
