About the Role

Reporting to the Event Operations Manager, the Event Delivery Lead plays a key role in bringing events to life and ensuring exceptional experiences for clients, patrons and the community.

The Events team promotes, sells, plans and delivers a diverse range of events, including concerts, festivals, exhibitions, business events, community celebrations, sporting events and entertainment experiences. As a member of the Event Delivery team, you will be responsible for leading the successful on-the-ground delivery of these events, ensuring every detail is executed safely, professionally and to a high standard.

Working closely with Event Planning, Logistics, AV, Venue Experience and Sports & Fitness teams, you'll lead event-day operations, coordinate resources and people, manage contractors and stakeholders, and ensure our venues are ready to deliver memorable experiences.

If you had worked with us recently, you may have:

• Led the delivery of a major concert, exhibition, gala dinner or community event from event pack-in through to pack-out.
• Coordinated logistics, contractors and event staff to ensure venues and event infrastructure were delivered to plan.
• Served as the primary point of contact for clients and event stakeholders during event delivery.
• Led event briefings, managed operational changes and resolved issues in real time.
• Played a key role in emergency preparedness, incident management and health and safety leadership.
• Worked alongside AV, Logistics and Venue Experience teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Coached and supported Event Delivery Leads and casual event staff to build capability and confidence.
• Contributed to the successful delivery of concerts, festivals, awards evenings, exhibitions, corporate events, community celebrations and sporting events.

About You

You're an experienced event delivery professional who enjoys being at the centre of the action and takes pride in delivering high-quality events.

You'll be a confident leader with strong operational experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining a calm, customer-focused approach.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience delivering events, venue operations or live experiences.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating people in dynamic environments.
• Strong customer, client and stakeholder management skills.
• A genuine commitment to health, safety and operational excellence.
• Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to make sound decisions and remain calm under pressure.
• Experience working with Momentus would be advantageous.
