BCI Construction, Inc. is seeking an additional experienced Superintendent to join our growing team and work in the Central Minnesota area. Headquartered out of Sauk Rapids, MN. BCI specializes in Commercial, Medical, and Institutional Construction.

Successful experience working with earthwork, ground-up construction of buildings, and fit-outs of spaces with various finish materials.
Ability to read and cross-reference a multitude of project plans and other project documents against work being installed and implemented.
Ability to balance a multitude of sub-contractors at one (1) time to build an “assembly line” of delivered work to achieve maximum efficiencies.
Ability to maintain organization and efficiencies with time and resources.
The aptitude to deliver timely discipline and praise in a constructive and positive manner.
Capacity to give direction and orders in a way to achieve optimal results without creating undue tension and conflict.
Exemplify strong interpersonal skills that are resolution oriented.
Consistently demonstrate the ability to recognize and manage priorities.
Competently utilize various tools and equipment to ensure project quality, performance, and cleanliness.
Ability to operate a multitude of construction equipment typically found on commercial construction job sites (Both hand tools and heavy equipment)
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of building and Construction Management experience
3+ years of experience with Commercial Construction
Efficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project trained or equivalent knowledge.
Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Administration, or Similar experience
OSHA30, SWWPP Certified
Procore Experience
Health card for commercial vehicle needs.
Physical Demands
This role will be exposed to field conditions and office environments. Construction sites are relatively unique situations regarding typical work conditions. Workers are exposed to cold weather conditions, hot weather conditions, non-level ground, moving mechanical equipment or other workers, high spaces, low spaces, fumes, airborne particles, exposure to shock, etc. Strict policies and in place for these differing conditions, but employees must adhere to safety policies to protect them against negative impacts of such exposures.
Office environments, due to the nature of the industry, can cause unique periods and schedules, sitting for long periods of time, and often loud, team driven atmospheres.
Frequently:
- Communicating with others to exchange information
- Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment
- Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
- Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Operating machinery or power tools
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
