We're seeking experienced Residential HVAC Installers to install heating and cooling systems for homeowners throughout our Northern Virginia service area. This is a hands-on role for professionals who value quality workmanship, safety, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
Success in this role comes from attention to detail, technical expertise, and working as a team to ensure every installation meets manufacturer specifications and Beacon's commitment to five-star service.

- Minimum 3–5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- EPA Certification required (Universal EPA Certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, installation practices, and equipment
- Knowledge of HVAC codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications
- Ability to read installation manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using technology (ServiceTitan, iPad, mobile applications)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must own and maintain the professional hand tools required to perform the essential functions of the role
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and perform physically demanding work safely
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Install residential HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
- →Perform complete system replacements, change-outs, and new equipment installations
- →Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, indoor and outdoor equipment, thermostats, and accessories
- →Measure, fabricate, and install ductwork and related components as needed
- →Connect electrical, refrigerant, condensate, gas, and control systems safely and accurately
- →Test completed systems for proper airflow, refrigerant charge, performance, and overall operation
- →Inspect installations to ensure compliance with local codes and Beacon quality standards
- →Educate homeowners on the operation and basic care of their new HVAC system
- →Complete all required documentation accurately within ServiceTitan
- →Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work area
- →Follow all safety procedures while representing Beacon professionally in customers' homes
Requirements
~1 min read- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 70 pounds
- Physically capable of performing residential HVAC installations in various weather conditions
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas
- Weekly pay
