Responsibilities
~1 min readNo two days are exactly the same! You'll spend your day helping pets and people by:
- →Welcoming pet parents and checking guests in and out for daycare, lodging, grooming, and training appointments.
- →Ensuring invoices are accurate and explaining services, packages, and recommendations.
- →Answering questions and helping families choose the services that best fit their pets' needs.
- →Serving as a backup on incoming phone calls and responding to customer inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- →Building genuine relationships with our regular guests and their families by remembering names, pets, and preferences.
- →Keeping our front lobby clean, organized, and inviting throughout the day.
- →Assisting customers with retail products and making personalized recommendations.
- →Processing payments and maintaining accurate customer records.
- →Folding laundry and helping keep daily operations running smoothly.
- →Working closely with our pet care, grooming, and training teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
- →Jumping in wherever needed to support the team and ensure every pet parent leaves happy.
- Loves both dogs and people.
- Enjoys talking with customers and creating meaningful relationships.
- Has exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Can multitask and stay organized during busy periods.
- Has strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Is comfortable learning computer software and handling payments.
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Is dependable, positive, and enjoys being part of a team.
- Stays calm under pressure and enjoys solving problems.
- Is willing to help wherever needed.
Previous customer service, receptionist, hospitality, veterinary, kennel, retail, or administrative experience is preferred, but we're happy to train the right person who brings a positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping people and their pets.
