Overview
As a Senior Analyst on the Bellwether Equity Team, you will support the oversight of a portfolio of commercial real estate investments. Key responsibilities include maintaining complex financial analyses, evaluating monthly operating reports and participating in bi-weekly leasing calls. Senior Analysts will be encouraged to contribute on the strategic initiatives across their deals and suggest business plan variations, where appropriate.
Assist in the proactive monitoring and management of a portfolio of equity investments across various property types;
Review and analyze business plans, leasing activity and monthly property operating performance;
Maintain detailed and complex asset-level cash flow reforecasting models;
Organize investment-level data on a monthly & quarterly reporting basis;
Evaluate and analyze potential new investments, assisting with due diligence and execution of said investments;
Liaison with operating partners and leading members of the asset management team to review business plan execution;
Perform additional ad-hoc analysis as needed; and
Help train and mentor junior analysts.
A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience;
Asset Management, Development, or Acquisitions across major asset classes experience preferred; client-facing experience preferred;
Experience with property underwriting and advanced financial modeling;
Familiarity with reading loan documents, joint-venture agreements, management agreements, etc.;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ARGUS Enterprise.
Bachelor’s degree required
