System Architect 3 Months Contract

Belmont Lavan Ltd is looking for an experienced System Architect to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of complex systems to meet business requirements and ensure scalability, security, and performance.

• →Develop and document system architecture designs that align with business and technical needs.
• →Collaborate with stakeholders including developers, product managers, and operations teams to ensure unified vision and execution.
• →Support core banking technology transformation initiatives, ensuring robust and compliant architectures.
• →Provide coaching and guidance on key architectural principles, non-functional requirements, and best practices.
• →Contribute to architectural documentation such as System Design Documents (SDD) and Test Readiness Review Documents (TRRD).
• →Assess and recommend improvements in IT infrastructure and platform capabilities.

• Proven experience as a System Architect, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of core banking systems and related architecture.
• Experience with integration architectures including message queuing technologies such as IBM MQ and Kafka.
• Familiarity with IBM Mainframe environments and transition strategies to midrange platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of Temenos T24/Transact platform is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Ability to define and manage non-functional requirements and support root cause analysis.
