Senior VFX Artist - Unannounced project | Artiste VFX Senior·e- Projet non annoncé

We are looking for a Senior VFX Artist passionate about sci-fi and futuristic genres to join our team and contribute to a AAA, FPS experience. In this role, you'll create impactful visual effects for characters, weapons, vehicles and environments within a world that blends realism with sci-fi aesthetics. 

Design and implement realistic VFX for weapons, gunfire, and explosions in Unreal Engine 5.

Create environmental visual effects suited to urban combat settings.

Develop clear, readable, telegraphing effects for gameplay legibility in a competitive context.

Collaborate closely with Design, Animation and Character teams to ensure visual consistency.

Optimize effects for performance while maintaining a high level of visual fidelity.

Help establish VFX standards for worlds blending combat realism, vehicles, and sci-fi visuals.

Minimum of 6 years of experience as a VFX Artist in the video game industry.

Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in weapon effects, explosions, and urban combat environments.

Strong experience with Unreal Engine 5 is a requirement.

Experience with realistic FPS games is a strong plus.

Knowledge of Houdini is a plus.

Au moins 6 ans d’expérience en tant qu’artiste VFX dans l’industrie du jeu vidéo ;  

Un portfolio solide démontrant une expertise dans la création d’effets pour les armes, les explosions et les environnements de combat urbain ; 

Une solide expérience avec Unreal Engine 5 est requise ; 

Une expérience sur des jeux FPS réalistes constitue un atout important. 

Une connaissance de Houdini est un atout ; 

Un grand souci du détail et une attention constante portée au réalisme visuel. 

En tant que  artiste VFX  Senior·e, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la réalisation du prochain chapitre d’une franchise AAA renommée. Vous collaborerez avec une équipe de professionnel·le·s expérimenté·e·s pour produire des effets visuels de haute qualité répondant aux standards ambitieux du projet.
