- Inspect fasteners and other warehouse inventory components for conformance to specifications using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
- Measure critical dimensions such as diameter, thread pitch, length, and tolerances per customer or supplier specifications.
- Identify defects or nonconforming materials and document findings clearly and accurately.
- Ensure accuracy of product labeling and packaging prior to shipment.
- Complete inspection reports, rejection tags (RGA), and communicate quality issues to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Support warehouse operations by inspecting orders for same-day shipping, minimizing delays and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to quality performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in Quality Control or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a Quality Control or Inspection role, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and other dimensional measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Computer literacy is a must – ability to use spreadsheets, databases, and inspection logging software.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Visual acuity to detect imperfections and discrepancies in product finish and dimension.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
