• →Data Warehouse Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of our enterprise data warehouse. Architect conceptual, logical, and physical data models that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with long-term business goals.
  
• →Strategic Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and data analysts. Proactively understand their challenges and requirements, and translate them into technical specifications and data modeling solutions.
• →Technical Leadership & Governance: Establish and enforce data modeling standards, best practices, and governance principles across the organization. Drive technical decisions, mentor other engineers, and champion a culture of data quality and consistency.
• →Implementation & Optimization: Partner with data engineers to guide the implementation of ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows. Continuously monitor and optimize the data warehouse architecture to improve performance, usability, and cost-effectiveness.
• →Documentation & Enablement: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, data lineage, and metric definitions, enabling self-service analytics and ensuring clarity for all data consumers.

• Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 7+ years of progressive experience in data warehousing, data architecture, or data modeling.

Business Acumen & Communication:

• Exceptional business acumen with a proven ability to deeply understand and anticipate business needs across different functions (e.g., finance, operations).
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and drive consensus.

Technical Expertise:

• Data Modeling: Mastery of various data modeling methodologies, including Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas), 3NF, and Data Vault.
• Modern Data Architecture: Deep understanding of modern data paradigms, including data warehousing, data lakes, and the lakehouse architecture.
• Cloud & Big Data: Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS preferred: S3, EMR, Glue, Athena) and big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Flink, real-time streaming with Kafka/MSK, Clickhouse).
• Data Tooling: Proficiency with modern data stack tools, including workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow), data transformation (e.g., dbt), and BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
• Data Governance: Strong knowledge of data quality management, metadata, and data lineage principles.
  Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional technical projects from conception to completion and influence technical direction.
