Senior Product Designer (Priv Controls)
Quick Summary
privileged account and credential vaulting, access approval and just-in-time elevation workflows, session brokering and session recording/monitoring, privileged account discovery,
Bitwarden is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the Bitwarden Center of Excellence (COE) team and drive design for its Privileged Access Management (PAM) product. PAM is Bitwarden's offering for securing, monitoring, and controlling access to an organization's most sensitive infrastructure and systems — used by security, IT, and DevOps teams to vault privileged credentials, broker and record privileged sessions, enforce just-in-time access, and maintain audit-ready visibility over standing and elevated access.
This role is primarily for someone who excels at designing technical, workflow-driven products for security and infrastructure audiences. The core design surfaces are the PAM web app and admin console, including privileged account and credential vaulting, access approval and just-in-time elevation workflows, session brokering and recording, discovery of privileged accounts across environments, and audit/compliance reporting. The core design challenge is making high-stakes access control and monitoring workflows feel clear, trustworthy, and efficient for security practitioners who expect precision, auditability, and speed.
Responsibilities

- →Collaborate and facilitate critique sessions with Product Managers for a diverse stakeholder audience.
- →Partner with roles and teams across the company — including the broader Bitwarden Center of Excellence — to identify opportunities for continuous UX improvement across the PAM surface.
