A candidate with strong experience in Mechanical Construction projects will strongly be considered and interviewed. This is a Commissioning Specialist (Mechanical) position. All candidates must meet the following expectations and be able to work independently with minimal oversight. As a Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for checklists, observations, meeting attendance, witnessing tests and procedures, customer satisfaction and other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Do:
- Understanding and following communication plans with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project status
- Understanding project schedules, milestones, critical path, ability to identify future looking planning needs and constraints
- Collaborate with technicians, team leads, and other PMs to perform project Cx tasks, meet schedule requirements, communication project progress, and review of plans / specifications and submittals’
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives by building customer relationships, investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions as directed
- Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with internal and external customers
What you’ll need (minimum qualifications):
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Consistent dependability and availability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction field and office environment
- Have the aptitude to learn new systems.
- General Mechanical Systems Knowledge.
- Knowledge of commissioning processes, documentation and implementation.
- Interpret controls one line drawings for integration with equipment is a plus
Good to have:
- 1-5 years' experience in the field of HVAC
- Experience working with building owners is preferred
