As a Facilities Associate, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our New York market. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of our stores by coordinating reactive repairs, managing vendor relationships, and supporting preventive maintenance. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams — like Field Ops, Construction, and HQ Facilities—to create exceptional environments for both our team and our customers. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in solving problems before they become issues.

- Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Comfortable using task management software and digital tools (e.g., ResQ, Asana, Slack)
- Familiar with facilities operations in a retail, hospitality, or QSR environment
- Act as the go-to for all store maintenance needs in the NYC + DC market
- Manage and triage reactive repair tickets, dispatch vendors, and follow through to resolution
- Build and maintain relationships with local vendors and contractors
- Perform hands-on repairs or maintenance work when appropriate
- Support store openings, remodels, and closings from a facilities perspective
- Monitor trends in repairs, spending & proactively identify recurring issues
- Develop and grow field leadership’s preventative maintenance abilities
- Ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed on schedule
- Partner with Ops and HQ Facilities to align on priorities and budget
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience supporting multi-site operations (retail, food service, or hospitality preferred)
- Comfort working independently and making judgment calls in the field
- Experience using project management tools (Google Suite, Asana, Slack).
- Hands on and action oriented.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure and time constraints.
- Adaptable, flexible and comfortable working in a team environment as well as autonomously as projects require.
- Passionate about creating a safe and enjoyable environment for both customers and our ground teams.
- A strong independent problem solver with proven multi-tasking and communication skills.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be comfortable working evenings and weekends where business dictates.
- Must have valid drivers license
