Responsibilities

→Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for lighting control systems projects, focusing on both midsize and large-scale opportunities.
→Interpret project specifications, architectural plans, and control system requirements to produce effective take-offs and material lists.
→Collaborate closely with internal sales teams, manufacturers, and external customers to support successful bid strategies.
→Assist with project layout designs and value-engineering recommendations for optimal system functionality and cost efficiency.
→Input data and maintain project records in internal tracking systems including quotes, layouts, and rebid details.
→Attend product training sessions to stay current with evolving technologies and application strategies.
→Maintain up-to-date knowledge of control products and systems in the commercial lighting market.

2–4 years of experience in lighting controls estimation, take-offs, and project quotations within the commercial or architectural lighting sector.
Strong understanding of lighting control systems and their application in energy management or smart building environments.
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, and internet-based research.
Solid math and analytical skills with a keen eye for project detail.
Excellent organizational abilities with a capacity to handle multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
Creative problem-solver capable of working independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
