Sr Estimating Specialist

• →Generate and manage midsize project quotes with speed and precision, aligning bids with current market conditions.
• →Serve as a liaison between customers, manufacturers, and sales teams to ensure seamless communication and accurate pricing.
• →Prepare and submit detailed breakdowns of quotations and cost estimates ahead of bid deadlines.
• →Participate in project buy-outs by negotiating favorable pricing with vendors and manufacturers.
• →Support site visits when necessary to better understand project scopes and customer requirements.
• →Maintain accurate bid records, reporting daily on all active quote requests.
• →Attend product training sessions to remain current on the latest lighting technologies and offerings.
• →Apply independent judgment and creativity when building competitive proposals.
• →Contribute to overall sales support by handling ad-hoc pricing requests and coordinating closely with internal teams.

• A background of 2–4 years in the lighting or electrical distribution industry, emphasizing the preparation and management of project-based estimates.
• Strong knowledge of lighting products and associated project components.
• Experience with submittal creation and review processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet-based research.
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
•  Ability to prioritize and handle multiple bids simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• A proactive attitude with strong organizational and communication skills.
