Responsibilities

  • Lead day to day concrete operations in the field across commercial and industrial projects.
  • Direct crew activity, coordinate field resources, and maintain alignment on safety, sequencing, and production goals.
  • Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings, then translate them into practical work plans for pours, layout, embeds, formwork, and related operations.
  • Partner with project managers, trade partners, and other site stakeholders to keep work progressing on schedule.
  • Remove field obstacles quickly, adjust labor and equipment plans when needed, and help teams stay productive under changing conditions.
  • Monitor workmanship, verify installation against project requirements, and address deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Promote a strong jobsite safety culture through planning, communication, and consistent execution.
  • Support concrete scopes that may include slab on grade, foundations, structural placements, elevated decks, industrial flatwork, tilt wall work, layout and control, or embed installation.
  • Track production performance and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and field execution.
  • At least 5 years of commercial or industrial concrete construction experience.
  • Experience in a leadership role such as Superintendent, General Foreman, Lead Foreman, or a similar field operations position.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete construction means and methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documents.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with different crews and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Experience reviewing plans, specifications, and shop drawings while coordinating with project stakeholders.
  • Hands on experience in one or more of the following areas: slab on grade, foundations, structural concrete, elevated decks, industrial concrete, tilt up construction, formwork systems, layout and control, or embed installation.
  • Willingness to travel.
