Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and maintain strong discipline across general accounting processes.
  • Support leadership with financial analysis, reporting packages, and materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance practices across the function.
  • Manage audit readiness and coordinate effectively with outside audit and tax partners.
  • Oversee treasury related activities, cash visibility, and key banking relationships.
  • Serve as the accounting leader for acquisition integrations, ensuring successful transition of financial processes, reporting, controls, and accounting operations following transactions.
  • Partner with operational leaders to improve workflows, reduce friction, and increase financial visibility.
  • Provide leadership to the accounting team and offer direction across adjacent billing operations.
  • Help optimize ERP and related financial systems to support a growing and increasingly complex business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Progressive accounting leadership experience with significant controllership responsibility, either as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Director of Accounting, or similar accounting leadership role.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, close management, and accounting operations.
  • Proven success leading accounting and finance integration work tied to acquisitions.
  • Experience building or improving processes in a company that is scaling.
  • Track record of leading teams and creating accountability in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong systems experience, including ERP platforms and reporting tools.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Public accounting background is a plus.
  • Experience in a multi-site, infrastructure, services, or similarly complex operating environment is helpful.
  • High visibility role with meaningful partnership across leadership.
