Responsibilities

  • Direct daily field operations for commercial data center construction projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and trade partners to maintain project schedules.
  • Develop and manage short term and long term construction schedules while proactively identifying potential delays.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure work is executed accurately.
  • Monitor workmanship throughout the project lifecycle and enforce established quality standards.
  • Lead regular coordination meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
  • Partner with the project management team to resolve field issues, design clarifications, and construction conflicts.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, project specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Promote and enforce a strong culture of jobsite safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain organized daily reports, progress documentation, inspections, and punch list activities.
  • Verify completion of corrective actions and manage project closeout activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
  • Commercial construction experience with the ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and vendors.
  • Experience leading field operations for complex commercial or mission critical construction projects.
  • Strong blueprint reading, scheduling, quality control, and job site management skills.
  • Knowledge of multiple construction trades and commercial construction practices.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read construction documents, safety procedures, technical manuals, and prepare reports and correspondence.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing responsibilities while maintaining schedule, safety, and quality objectives.
  • Experience building collaborative relationships across project teams and field personnel.
