Responsibilities

  • Guide execution across a portfolio of local commercial construction projects, ensuring alignment around schedule, quality, safety, and profitability.
  • Lead project managers, superintendents, and field personnel with a focus on accountability, communication, and consistent performance.
  • Improve internal operating rhythms, reporting practices, and coordination processes that support stronger project outcomes.
  • Monitor project health across active work, including cost performance, staffing needs, subcontractor progress, and operational risk.
  • Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning, resource allocation, and scalable methods for delivering work efficiently.
  • Support the growth of junior talent by coaching developing project professionals and helping elevate team capability.
  • Maintain productive relationships with clients, trade partners, and vendors to reinforce service quality and long-term business strength.
  • Step into project specific challenges when needed, bringing practical judgment and urgency in a lean, fast-moving environment.
  • Help reinforce a culture built on responsiveness, follow through, professionalism, and sound decision making.
  • Strong background in commercial construction leadership with experience overseeing multiple projects and teams.
  • Experience working within a general contracting environment.
  • Solid understanding of ground up commercial construction and the day-to-day realities of delivering complex builds.
  • Demonstrated success leading project and field teams while improving performance and accountability.
  • Strong financial awareness related to job cost, operational efficiency, and overall project performance.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial setting where adaptability and ownership matter.

This team delivers a mix of negotiated commercial work across sectors such as education, industrial, office, retail, storage, and other specialized facilities. Projects are primarily based in the Central Florida market, and regular site presence is expected.
