Mechanical Design Associate

A growing industrial equipment manufacturer is adding a Mechanical Design Associate to support a fast-moving engineering team and build toward a long-term Design Engineer path. · An onsite environment where you can work closely with engineering and production teams

· Create and update production-ready drawings in SolidWorks for parts, assemblies, and fabrication packages
· Build and maintain bills of materials, revision records, and supporting engineering documentation for active projects
· Prepare accurate documentation that helps manufacturing, purchasing, and assembly teams execute work efficiently
· Support redlines, drawing revisions, and controlled document updates as project needs change
· Work with internal teams and outside suppliers to confirm technical details and keep documentation aligned
· Assist with early-stage mechanical design support while developing broader design ownership over time
· Maintain organized engineering files and support detail-driven project documentation
· Experience using SolidWorks for part modeling, assemblies, or manufacturing drawings
· Experience creating BOMs and engineering documentation in a manufacturing environment
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
· Strong mechanical aptitude and practical interest in how parts and assemblies are built
· Detail-oriented documentation skills with a high standard for accuracy
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with multiple stakeholders
· Coachability, curiosity, and a genuine interest in developing into a Design Engineer
Nice to Have

· Early career experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing support, or design documentation is attractive
