Security Officer (Bilingual) — Retail Shopping Center Patrol

Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Retail Shopping Center – Maryland

Blueline Security Services is currently seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused Bilingual Security Officers to provide patrol and security services at a busy retail shopping center. This position requires officers who are highly visible, proactive, and capable of maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for tenants, shoppers, and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, excellent observation abilities, and the professionalism needed to interact with the public daily.

• →Conduct regular foot patrols and mobile patrols throughout the shopping center property
• →Maintain a strong and visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, loitering, trespassing, and other unwanted activity
• →Monitor storefronts, parking lots, common areas, and entrances for suspicious behavior or safety hazards
• →Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers, visitors, and tenants with questions, directions, and concerns
• →Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and alarms
• →Complete detailed and accurate incident, activity, and daily reports using company systems
• →Enforce property rules, post orders, and company policies at all times
• →Work closely with property management, local law enforcement, and emergency responders when needed
• →Monitor for safety concerns such as unsecured doors, damaged property, or hazardous conditions
• →De-escalate conflicts professionally and maintain control of situations using sound judgment and communication skills

• Must be fluent in both Spanish and English
• Must possess an active Maryland Security Guard License
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain alert, professional, and dependable in a fast-paced environment
• Must have reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Professional appearance and demeanor required at all times
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

• Previous retail, shopping center, or commercial property security experience preferred
• Military, law enforcement, or customer service background is a plus
• Experience handling incident reporting and emergency response situations preferred
• Bilingual customer service experience strongly preferred
