Service Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and automation solutions that support cloud infrastructure services.
- →Write, enhance, debug, and maintain applications using .NET and C#.
- →Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
- →Review enhancement requests, technical specifications, and operational requirements.
- →Build automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- →Understand, modify, and support existing scripts written in PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- →Develop and execute unit tests and assist with system-level validation activities.
- →Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- →Create and maintain technical documentation, software specifications, and test plans.
- →Support software deployment, migration activities, and implementation processes.
- →Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure engineering excellence.
- →Leverage AI-powered development tools and agents to improve productivity, accelerate debugging, and streamline engineering workflows.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support service reliability, scalability, and performance initiatives.
Requirements
~3 min read- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Experience developing, testing, debugging, and supporting production software.
- Ability to understand and work with existing codebases and contribute enhancements.
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including:
- Data structures
- Algorithms
- Object-oriented design principles
- Software development lifecycle practices
- Experience performing troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution in production environments.
- Knowledge of unit testing methodologies and software quality practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
- Experience building automation solutions rather than solely reporting or dashboard-focused work.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience supporting infrastructure, platform, or service management environments.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, AI agents, or intelligent automation workflows.
- Experience with operational tooling, service monitoring, and reliability engineering practices.
- Prior experience working within large enterprise technology organizations.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and rapidly adapt to evolving engineering environments.
- Experience contributing to internal tooling, productivity solutions, or capacity management initiatives.
