Store Clerk (3 Positions)

Job Summary:

Biigtigong Nishnaabeg invites community members interested in working a part-time position as a store clerk. This position will include evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience in customer service or related role
• Previous experience operating a point-of-sale system (POS)
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Effective and strong communications skills both written and verbal
• Basic computer skills
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift/store merchandise as required
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate point of sale system- handle financial transactions accurately and effectively
• Provide positive customer service experiences
• Assist with deliveries or moving stock supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing shelves
• Follow all safety procedures outlined for job tasks
• Contribute to the team in a positive, energetic, friendly manner
• Assist with tracking inventory
