Böhme was founded by Vivien and Fernanda Böhme, two sisters from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil who immigrated to the United States as young girls. With the usual struggles of an immigrant family, work was inevitable from an early age.  Their strong work ethic, dedication, and passion for success lead to them opening Böhme in 2006 at just 23 & 24 years old. Böhme is led by Vivien’s mind for business as CEO and Fernanda’s eye for design as Creative Director. Today we have store locations across the western US and employ over 200 women.

Purpose:

Works in conjunction with the Store Manager in managing all areas of the daily operations of the

store, including generating sales and profit while controlling expenses and inventory, personnel

acquisition and development, maintaining visual standards and building the Bohme brand.

Responsibilities:

 Recruit and recommend potential candidates for store personnel.

 Interview potential candidates for store personnel.

 Train associates; develop sales, stock and cashier associates using all training materials.

 Recognize performance issues/violation of company policy and procedures and take

 appropriate disciplinary action.

 Participate in sales/stock associate performance evaluation.

 Resolve scheduling/staffing issues.

 Assist in developing weekly work schedules.

 Schedule and ensure compliance to meal and break periods.

 Responsible for assigning store personnel to work stations.

 Determine and assign overtime (when approved).

 Determine and implement schedule reductions.

 Determine and implement schedule changes as needed to include on call needs.

 Assist in establishing and maintaining a diverse work force in store.

 Train, supervise and motivate sales staff members to achieve sales plans.

 Establish store/individual sales goals, communicate goals and monitor achievement of

goals.

 Promote and motivate staff for company contests.

 Resolve customer service/satisfaction concerns.

 Ensure proper merchandise presentation

 Implement and enforce Bohme strategies to sales staff members.

 Supervise and is responsible for cash handling and banking procedures.

 Manage proper and timely accounting of all cash flow.

 Supervise and executes the incoming and outgoing merchandise.


 Possess a training knowledge of the register and all other related hardware.

 Uphold backroom presentation standards.

 Maintain physical inventory accuracy.

 Secure Bohme assets/property and maintain loss prevention and operational standards.

 Attend and participate in any management meetings.

 Carry out work assignments scheduled by Store Manager.

 Control and impact sales.

 Achieve payroll budgets.

 Achieve store shrinkage goals.

 Maintain and protect the store's physical location.

 Assist with selling, cashiering, and stocking when necessary.

 Perform all other duties as assigned.

Authority:

 Works in conjunction with the Store Manager to supervise, train, develop and discipline

hourly associates.

 Maintains full authority for all aspects of the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

Exercises discretion in prioritizing his/her responsibilities.

Qualifications:

 Minimum high school education or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Business or related

field preferred.

 Minimum of one-year retail store management experience or equivalent education.

o For internal promotions:

 Successful completion of personal sales goals for no less than six

consecutive months

 Proven examples of team motivation and development

 Complete Bohme Retail Management award in Go1

 Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

 PC skills appreciated.
