Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with five (5) years of experience, or a combination of education and experience
  • Five (5) years of experience in nonprofit development or fundraising role, including working with institutional funders
  • Experience with CRM databases, Salesforce preferred
  • Experience using systems and tools such as Zoom, Google Suite, Slack, and Asana
  • Excellent writing skills, grant writing experience, and the ability to synthesize information, interpret data and incorporate feedback as part of the writing process
  • Strong oral communication skills and demonstrated experience building relationships with funders
  • Ability to handle confidential donor information with sensitivity and integrity
  • Ability to problem-solve, plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships within a diverse virtual work environment
  • Proven project management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills, with excellent attention to detail and good follow-through

Work Environment (Conditions and Physical Demands)
This job operates in a professional, virtual, home office or co-working environment, with local and national travel. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift and transport items.
