Wordpress Web Developer

As the Wordpress Web Developer, you will build, test, deploy, and maintain our website. We are believers in building strong feedback loops within the organization to provide the best digital experiences to our visitors. This role requires someone who can communicate complicated solutions clearly, simplify problems into action steps and easily adapt to changes.

• →Assist in building and maintaining our website, brainlabsdigital.com and its supporting technologies. 
• →Support and develop integrations with current and future third party vendors.
• →Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs and support the success of the team. 
• →Partner with design and marketing team to bring creative concepts to life while ensuring performance, accessibility, and scalability.
• →Optimize site performance, ensuring fast load times and mobile-first responsiveness.
• →Stay current on emerging frontend trends, Shopify platform updates, and web standards to continually improve site quality and maintain compliance.

• 3+ years of experience in web development. B2B experience preferred.  
• Experience working in Wordpress with the Bricks editor - Required.
• Full-stack experience with a focus on frontend development. 
• Experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites, including theme customization, plugin integration, and ensuring consistency with brand standards.
• Familiarity with data privacy frameworks and cookie consent management, preferably with OneTrust.
• Understanding of SEO best practices, page speed optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong English speaker.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript. 
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. 
• Solution-oriented and forward-thinking. 
• Strong attention to detail. 
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• B.A. or B.S. in computer science, information technology, or related discipline.
