.Net Software Engineer

Brainsquare is looking for a Medior/Senior .NET Software Engineer to develop cloud-based solutions and manage projects within enterprise environments. You'll join our Enterprise Application Team, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications that support critical business processes. Your role encompasses the full software development lifecycle, from architectural design to implementation, testing, and deployment, all within an agile framework. Please note: due to project requirements and on-site collaboration needs, we are only considering candidates who are currently living in Belgium or the Netherlands.

• Design and implement solutions based on high-level architectures

• Break down complex requirements into manageable components

• Develop applications using the .NET platform (ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET 6)

• Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions

• Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team

• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiative

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT OR equivalent experience (certifications are a plus)

• For medior level: over 3 years of relevant experience; for senior level: over 5 years

• Proven experience with the .NET platform (.NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 6)

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including SaaS, PaaS, Functions, and App Services

• Proficient in database technologies like MS SQL Server and NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with object-oriented programming, dependency injection, unit testing, and SOLID principles

• Experience with GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and release management

• Knowledge of RESTful API design, including OpenAPI, OAuth security, throttling, monitoring, and error handling

• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch; French is a plus

• Ability to work in international environments and collaborate across time zones
