About the Role

We're looking for a Brand Lead to shape how the world experiences Braintrust. You’ll define and evolve our visual identity to establish us as the category leader in AI observability. This is a foundational role where you'll craft the visual systems that bring our brand to life across every touchpoint: our website, product, advertising, and go-to-market materials.

The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who knows how to build brands that resonate. You'll develop our design strategy across web, campaigns, events, swag, sales collateral, and more by translating our mission into a cohesive visual language that connects with developers. You'll partner with a multidisciplinary design team and work closely with marketing and sales to bring the brand to life.

  • Lead creative for high-impact moments: product launches, landing pages, events, and sales campaigns.

  • Drive creative strategy and execution in partnership with internal teams and external partners, ensuring every expression of the brand is thoughtful and on-point.

  • Shape the strategic vision for our visual aesthetic, building systems that scale while maintaining creative excellence.

  • Set the standard for our brand experience: defining design principles, guidelines, and systems that ensure consistency and quality.

  • Move fast and ship often, thriving in a dynamic environment where speed and craft go hand in hand.

  • Create brand experiences that feel intuitive, elevated, and built for technical audiences.

  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to build compelling, cohesive brand experiences.

  • Fluency in design fundamentals: typography, color, composition, and the judgment to know when to follow the rules and when to break them.

  • Proven experience leading creative across diverse formats: digital campaigns, landing pages, presentations, events, and large-scale brand initiatives.

  • The ability to juggle multiple projects without compromising on craft, detail, or creative vision.

  • A collaborative spirit and comfort working in a lean, high-performing team.

  • Experience designing for technical products and an understanding of what resonates with developer audiences.

  • Bonus: you love to code and ship your own designs.
