Service Foreman

Our Pakenham branch is seeking a motivated Foreman to support the day-to-day operations of our Service Department and help lead a high-performing team of technicians and apprentices.

As Foreperson, you will play a key leadership role within the workshop, supporting technicians and apprentices while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Working closely with the Service Manager, you will help coordinate workshop activities, provide technical guidance, and support the development of your team.

• →Supporting the allocation of jobs and workshop resources
• →Providing technical guidance and assistance to technicians and apprentices
• →Assisting with diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues
• →Reviewing repair orders for accuracy and completeness
• →Coordinating technician training and skills development
• →Supporting workshop safety initiatives and team performance
• →Maintaining and managing workshop tooling and equipment
• →Assisting with customer concerns and service-related enquiries
• →Acting in a leadership capacity when the Service Manager is absent

• Trade qualification and at least 3 years' experience as a Service Technician
• Strong technical and diagnostic abilities
• Leadership skills and a desire to mentor and develop others
• Experience working with agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead by example
• Experience with John Deere products is advantageous
• Forklift licence preferred
