The Low‑Code Developer / Power Platform Developer will work on continuity, reliability, and scalability of the organization’s digital products that support critical business operations. This position is responsible for the ongoing development, support, and enhancement of a growing portfolio of Microsoft Power Platform solutions that enable day‑to‑day business execution.

This role will maintain operational stability, preserving institutional knowledge, reducing key‑person dependency, and ensuring that existing digital products remain supported, secure, and functional as the business navigates system changes, prioritization constraints, and resource limitations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary owner and steward of mission‑critical Power Platform applications and automations used across the business.
  • Maintain, enhance, and stabilize existing digital products to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Provide continuity of knowledge for solutions currently supported by contractors, reducing dependency on external resources.
  • Design, enhance, and support Power Apps that digitize and operationalize core business processes.
  • Maintain complex Power logic, reusable components, and shared patterns to ensure long‑term maintainability.
  • Manage security roles, data validation, and error handling to protect business data and system reliability.
  • Address defects, enhancements, and performance issues in live production apps.
  • Build, support, and continuously optimize business‑critical cloud flows, scheduled automations, and RPA solutions.
  • Monitor automations proactively to prevent failures that could disrupt operational processes.
  • Implement governance‑aligned retry logic, alerts, and exception handling to ensure resiliency.
  • Maintain and enhance Power BI datasets, dashboards, and embedded analytics that support operational and leadership decision‑making.
  • Ensure reporting solutions remain accurate, performant, and aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Apply Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices to protect production environments and reduce downtime risk.
  • Contribute to Power Platform governance standards, solution architecture, and Center of Excellence (CoE) practices.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Act as a trusted partner to business teams by translating operational needs into sustainable digital solutions.
  • Provide production support, incident resolution, and root‑cause analysis for existing digital products.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to preserve knowledge and enable support coverage.

 

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience
  • Proven, hands‑on experience developing and supporting production solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong expertise in Dataverse, relational data modeling, and environment strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency with Power Fx, expressions, JSON, and solution architecture.
  • Experience maintaining integrations using standard and premium connectors.
  • Ability to balance short‑term operational fixes with long‑term solution sustainability.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively across business and IT teams.

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Model‑Driven Apps, Business Process Flows, or advanced Power Platform features.
  • Familiarity with Azure integrations (Logic Apps, Functions, REST APIs).
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines, solution deployment, and environment governance.
  • Power Platform certifications (PL‑200, PL‑400, PL‑600).
  • Experience supporting solutions through periods of enterprise change or system migration.
