We are looking for an OHS & Workplace Experience professional to oversee and support all local Occupational Health & Safety responsibilities, ensuring ongoing compliance with Romanian legislation and internal standards, while also providing reception and day-to-day workplace support as needed.
This individual will partner closely with local Braze employees, vendors, and our external OHS provider to help maintain a safe, welcoming, and high-performing workplace environment, while supporting the continued evolution of Braze’s global workplace experience standards and reception operations. This role sits within the People Team and reports to the Regional Manager, Workplace Experience – EMEA.
Braze is a fast-paced, rapidly growing company, and we need a self-starter who exercises sound judgment, takes initiative, and proactively manages our OHS responsibilities whilst working closely with our People Business Partners and Workplace Team. You’ll maintain a strong pulse on the needs of our Bucharest employees and be adaptable to evolving global conditions and workplace dynamics. This role will be required to be in-office 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) policies and procedures across the Bucharest office
- →Identify, assess, and help mitigate workplace health and safety risks
- →Maintain and update required OHS documentation in line with Romanian legislation and company standards
- →Coordinate and facilitate regular OHS training and awareness sessions for employees
- →Partner with external OHS providers and collaborate with relevant local authorities and inspectors as needed
- →Recommend and support preventative and protective health & safety measures within the workplace
- →Meeting and greeting visitors, ensuring they are dealt with in a professional and welcoming manner, ensuring prompt notification to their hosts.
- →Maintain a tidy and well-organised reception area.
- →Provide best-in-class customer service to all Braze employees, clients, partners, vendors, and visitors when they enter a Braze office.
- →Monitor and respond to office access and guest registration tickets, maintaining a customer service mindset to ensure world-class support for Braze employees.
- →Balance multiple priorities with ease, responding to urgent needs while keeping day-to-day tasks running smoothly and on schedule.
- →Support general office requests and workplace questions, helping employees get what they need to do their best work.
- →Play a key role in in-office events, from helping manage access and check-in to assisting with logistics and creating a seamless experience.
- →Be a flexible team player, jumping in to support the Workplace team with ad-hoc tasks, PTO coverage, and operational needs as they arise.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role; experience in customer service a plus.
- Ability to work on-site, Monday to Friday, maintaining a full-time, in-office schedule
- Someone who is confident, positive, and comfortable being in a highly visible role that will define the reputation of the Braze Workplace Team.
- Passion for best-in-class workplace experience and customer service.
- A strong communicator with excellent grammatical skills.
- A sharp eye for detail and good organisational skills
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to set own priorities.
- A creative problem-solver, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the table.
- An awesome can-do attitude - no task is too big or too small.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25 to 30 pounds.
- Familiar with Mac computer and GSuite.
