Part-time Lifeguard

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports to: PE Department Head

Hours: 15-19 hours per week, November - May

Salary: $24 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Lower School swimming classes to ensure the safety of all participants.

• Respond to emergencies quickly and effectively.

• Monitor and supervise locker room areas, ensuring cleanliness and appropriate behavior.

• Communicate effectively with students and staff regarding safety and facility use.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Current Lifeguard certification is required.

• Current CPR certification is required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain a high level of vigilance and responsibility.

Note: Breck School will cover the cost for any required certifications.
