Bridges Electrical Engineers Ltd is offering a range of Year in Industry placements across multiple departments and locations:

• → Valuable hands-on experience in a leading engineering company
• → Exposure to real-world infrastructure projects
• → Development of technical and professional skills
• → Opportunity to work within multidisciplinary teams
• → Potential pathway to a graduate role

• Students studying Engineering, Project Management, or related degrees
• Individuals with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Those interested in practical, site-based engineering environments

• Duration: 12 months (Year in Industry)
• Start Date: Typically Summer intake
• Locations: Multiple UK sites as listed above

• 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday.
• 1 Year in Industry Placement

Across our key sectors – Water, Power, Energy and Aggregates, and supported through our regional office network supported by our manufacturing hub located in the heart of Somerset which forms part of our 60,000ft head office complex – we deliver diverse and interesting projects and programmes throughout UK infrastructure.

Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only . Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.
