Brigade Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Enrollment Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for patients and caregivers seeking access to our healthcare services.
In this role, you will guide individuals and families through the enrollment process, helping them understand available programs, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring a smooth transition into care. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support patients navigating complex healthcare situations such as chronic illness, dementia, or care transitions.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in patient intake, patient access, healthcare scheduling, admissions, or care coordination.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families seeking healthcare services
- →Guide patients and caregivers through the enrollment and onboarding process with empathy and professionalism
- →Collect, verify, and process patient demographic, insurance, and medical information
- →Explain Brigade Health programs, services, and care pathways to prospective patients
- →Schedule appointments and coordinate onboarding with clinical and operations teams
- →Maintain accurate documentation in EHR/EMR or CRM systems
- →Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
- →Track enrollment progress and follow up with patients as needed
- →Identify barriers to enrollment and help improve the patient experience
Requirements

- 0–2 years of experience in healthcare intake, patient access, scheduling, medical office support, or healthcare customer service
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Health Sciences, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in healthcare enrollment, admissions, insurance verification, patient navigation, or care coordination
- Experience supporting patients with chronic illness, dementia, or complex care transitions
- Experience using EHR, EMR, or healthcare CRM systems
