This role is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, storage optimization, and distribution logistics. This role ensures materials and products are accurately tracked, properly stored, and efficiently distributed to support operational needs. The position is accountable for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting efficient material flow, and executing established processes and procedures. As a hands-on manager, this role prioritizes daily activities, coordinates with procurement and operations teams, and ensures the warehouse runs safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to maintaining accuracy, safety, and operational consistency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • This position may have supervisory responsibility.
  • Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Lead and develop warehouse team, including supervisors and staff.
  • Establish clear workflows, roles, and accountability across warehouse functions.
  • Ensure accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Develop and continuously improve inventory control processes and systems.
  • Partner with procurement and operations to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement and enhance warehouse systems (ERP/WMS) to improve visibility and efficiency.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage strategies, and material handling processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce errors.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including vendor and freight management.
  • Align with procurement, logistics, and field teams to ensure material availability.
  • Provide administrative support for company fleet operations, including vehicle records, maintenance scheduling, and coordination with vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across warehouse and yard operations.
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, on-time shipments and warehouse productivity .
  • Use data to drive decision-making and operational improvements
  • All other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience in warehouse and inventory operations.
  • Proficiency with ERP/Fleet systems (Procore, Koncurent, Fleetio, Samsara, Monday, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 5+ years of warehouse and inventory management experience, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift or move materials as needed and perform physical warehouse duties when required.
  • Forklift certification and familiarity with automated warehouse equipment
  • Travel may be required up to 10% to office/work/project sites in the greater Northeast Region and/or East Coast (but not limited to) of the United States.

What We Offer

An Employee is expected to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws, while exempt employees may be required to work additional hours as necessary to fulfill their job responsibilities. Overtime requirements will be determined based on the operational needs of the organization. The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Brightcore also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to complement the base salary. The base annual salary range for this position is $95,000-$130,000 and is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.

Brightcore currently offers both traditional and Roth 401k plans with a dollar-for-dollar match of up to 3% of contributions and $0.50 on the next 2% for a total potential match of 4% annually.
