Snowflake Data Architecture: Data Architect

Experience Range: 12+ years of experience in data architecture, including hands-on expertise with Snowflake engineering and modern data platform technologies Key Responsibilities: 1. Design robust, scalable Snowflake data architectures to support enterprise data warehousing and analytics solutions 2. Develop and implement ETL pipelines using DataStream and Snowpipe to ensure efficient data ingestion and processing 3. Optimize database performance, storage, and query execution using advanced SQL, Time Travel, and Fail Safe features 4. Model complex data structures and relationships to ensure high-quality, maintainable data solutions 5. Configure and manage SnowSQL, stored procedures, and automation scripts for seamless data operations 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Snowflake with other data platforms and business applications 7. Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability across all systems 8. Maintain up-to-date documentation of architecture designs, data flows, and operational procedures Required Skills: 1. Expertise in Snowflake engineering and data warehousing concepts 2. Strong proficiency in DataStream and ETL fundamentals 3. Advanced SQL skills (Basic and Advanced SQL) 4. Python programming for data processing and automation 5. Experience with Snowpipe for real-time data ingestion 6. Hands-on knowledge of Time Travel and Fail Safe features in Snowflake 7. Proficiency in SnowSQL for database management and scripting 8. Solid understanding of modern data platform fundamentals 9. Data modelling fundamentals for designing scalable data structures 10. Experience with PLSQL, T-SQL, and stored procedures Preferred Skills: 1. Experience integrating Snowflake with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP 2. Expertise in performance tuning and optimization for large-scale data warehouses 3. Familiarity with data governance and security best practices in Snowflake 4. Knowledge of emerging data streaming technologies 5. Experience with real-time analytics and dashboarding solutions Desired Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 2. Relevant certifications in Snowflake, data warehousing, or cloud technologies (preferred)
