The Role: The Integration Data Analyst plays a key role in maintaining and optimising Anaplan data integrations that support FP&A processes. Responsible for monitoring data flows, resolving integration issues, supporting testing and ongoing maintenance, the role ensures reliable data for forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making. Working closely with technology, data, and FP&A teams, the position supports solution releases, drives continuous improvement, enhances integration processes, and ensures Anaplan data pipelines remain robust, accurate, and aligned with evolving business needs. Accountabilities: Monitor and remediate integration of inbound and outbound data * Oversee Anaplan interfaces, data refreshes, system integrations, and EPM Fast Track configurations, ensuring reliable data flows, timely issue resolution, and seamless connectivity across SAP, Salesforce, Tempus, MDM, Datahub, Azure, and Synapse platforms. Provide Anaplan application support * Deliver application support, troubleshoot system issues, manage and test data integrations, resolve errors, ensure stable and accurate data flows between Anaplan and source systems, and provide user training and guidance on platform functionality and integration best practices. Support project management and agile execution * Contribute to Agile project delivery through sprint planning and execution, facilitate alignment between technical and business teams, proactively manage integration risks, and support product management in shaping the future direction of Anaplan data integration capabilities. Knowledge management – documentation and training * Develop integration methodologies, best practices, training, and enablement programmes; advise stakeholders on optimal integration approaches; support adoption of new processes; establish KPIs to measure effectiveness; and promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance Anaplan data integration performance and business value. Technical Expertise * Manage Anaplan integrations across SAP and Azure data platforms, understand multidimensional data structures, apply FP&A knowledge in planning and forecasting, and leverage advanced Excel, Power BI, and reporting skills to support effective financial analysis and decision-making. Role specific knowledge and experience: Essential: * Extensive knowledge and experience of data management and governance. * Experience in advising technology teams on integration best practices * Operational knowledge of large-scale ERP system * Understanding and some knowledge of accounting standards * Experience of working with diverse stakeholders in a global organisation. * Experience of reporting metrics and to monitor compliance and outcomes. * Deep understanding on Anaplan or similar planning tools architecture Desirable: * Anaplan Model Builder qualification (any level). * Finance qualifications – ACCA / CIMA etc * Experience working with SAP products, especially SAP ECC * Experience of the transactional and bulk Anaplan APIs * Strong programming skills Role specific skills: * Data integration skills, including data mapping and process design skills. * Building relationships at all levels of the organisation * Excellent analytical and data skills along with strong planning and organisational skills are required. * Flexibility, independence, and initiative to perform successfully in a global and rapidly changing environment. * Familiarity with data integration processes (e.g. ETL) and data validation techniques * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Ability to operate effectively and prioritise in a busy global facing role. Education: Graduate Professional Qualification and Certification - Anaplan Model Builder qualification Language Requirements: The British Council systems and global processes operate in English. Written and verbal proficiency in English is required.
