Role Description & Purpose Join our team in supporting the secure and compliant delivery of exams. This role provides essential operational, logistical, and administrative support, ensuring venues, equipment, and materials are prepared, available, and managed to the highest standards. You will support all stages of the exam cycle, including venue coordination, setup, materials handling, test-day delivery, monitoring, and post-test activities. Working in line with British Council and awarding body requirements, you will help maintain exam security and integrity, ensure accurate handling of resources and equipment, and provide high-quality support to the delivery team to ensure smooth and successful exam operations. Role Accountabilities As part of our Exams team, you will play a key role in supporting the secure and efficient delivery of exams, from preparation through to post-test activities. You will help identify, book and prepare venues, ensuring all signage, materials, equipment and IT resources are in place and ready for use. You will support the secure handling, storage and transportation of confidential exam materials, including work within the Confidential Materials Room (CMR), and assist with packing, dispatch and post-test processing. Acting as a point of contact for venue staff and supervisors during test delivery, you will help maintain high operational standards while providing logistical support to candidates, partners and delivery teams. You will be responsible for following strict security, integrity, compliance and health and safety procedures, supporting venue audits, maintaining accurate records, and escalating any incidents or irregularities. The role also involves assisting with venue payments, equipment procurement, stock management and resource tracking. Working to tight deadlines, you will plan and prioritise your workload effectively, participate in test-day rosters including early mornings and weekends, and support the coordination of temporary and venue-based staff to ensure successful exam delivery. Qualifications & Experience Essential * Risk awareness and attention to detail * Customer service and communication * Problem-solving under time pressure * Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timeframes. * The British Council systems and global processes operate in English. Written and verbal proficiency in English is required. Desirable * Basic understanding of risk, compliance, and confidentiality procedures. * Experience in logistics, event coordination, or regulated service delivery * Experience working with assessment services. Important Information * Location: the position is based on site, in Bogota, Colombia. * Contract Type: this is a permanent, full-time position, 35 contracted hours per week. * Salary: 2.850.000 COP per month, based on qualifications and experience * Benefits: 20 days annual leave plus public holidays, British Council assumes 100% of costs of social security (Pensions and EPS), Health Insurance scheme (spouse and dependant coverage) * Right to Work: The candidates must have legal right to live and work in Colombia.
