Join us as the UK returns to Erasmus+ The Department for Education has announced that the British Council will become the UK's National Agency for Erasmus+ from 2027. Join us in supporting the delivery of one of the UK's most significant international education programmes, helping create opportunities for learners and organisations across the UK and Europe. Role purpose As Programme Support Officer, you'll provide operational and administrative support that enables the successful delivery of Erasmus+. Working closely with Programme Delivery, Quality Assurance, Finance, Compliance and Digital colleagues, you'll help ensure operational processes, guidance and documentation are maintained to a consistently high standard while supporting continuous improvement across programme delivery. Main accountabilities Operational support * Provide day-to-day operational support across the Erasmus+ programme. * Maintain programme documentation, guidance and standard operating procedures. * Support consistent application of operational processes. Administration * Assist with maintaining operational records and documentation. * Support colleagues with operational queries. * Contribute to the effective administration of programme activities. Continuous improvement * Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. * Support implementation of process improvements. * Contribute to maintaining high-quality operational standards. Stakeholder support * Build positive working relationships across internal teams. * Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders. * Support collaborative working across Programme Delivery teams. Essential experience * Experience working in an operational, administrative or programme support environment. * Strong organisational and administrative skills. * Excellent attention to detail. * Experience working with documented processes and procedures. * Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Desirable * Experience supporting grant-funded programmes. * Experience within education, public sector or international programme delivery. * Knowledge of Erasmus+ or similar programmes.
