Role Purpose
Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of exams across Zimbabwe, including PO management and the secure handling of confidential materials in line with compliance standards. Manage Venue Supervisor engagement and performance, coordinate risk and issue resolution, support customer communications, and act as the primary point of contact for venues and Venue Supervisors on test days. This role requires weekend working as part of contracted hours.
Main Accountabilities
Support the end-to-end planning and delivery of exam operations, including test day preparation, venue staffing, confidential materials management, packing and secure distribution of exam materials, script tracking and returns, venue resource coordination, and performance monitoring. Ensure compliance with British Council standards, proactively identify and escalate operational issues, support audits and investigations, manage risks and contingencies, and maintain accurate operational reporting to support effective decision-making.
Provide responsive customer and stakeholder support by addressing enquiries, resolving or escalating issues, and coordinating communications to minimise disruption to test delivery and customer experience. Build strong relationships with Venue Staff, Venue Supervisors, and colleagues, act as the primary in-country contact for escalated venue-related matters, support continuous service improvement, manage resources and equipment responsibly, and coordinate the work of colleagues and contractors to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
* Experience working in a busy operational environment.
* Delivering high levels of customer service.
* Ability to ensure compliance, risk and security standards are monitored and maintained.
* University degree in any subject or relevant qualification
Desirable
* Experience working in exams
* Experience of supporting on delivery of computer based exams
