Accounts Receivable Clerk / Payroll Assistant

Broadbent & Associates, Inc. of the Las Vegas, Nevada Area is looking to hire an organized full-time Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivable/Payroll/ Accounts Payable) to support our growing environmental consulting business. Our office is in Henderson, Nevada. This Accounting Clerk position earns a competitive salary, depending on experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounts Receivable duties: prepare bank deposits; data entry of client payments received by check, EFT and credit card; maintain records by scanning and electronically filing documents, communicate with customers and send monthly statements of account; investigate and report client account discrepancies.

Payroll duties: review timesheet entries for proper coding; review expense sheet entries and supporting documents for accuracy; communicate needed corrections to employees.

Accounts Payable duties: review, code, and process vendor invoices and statements for approval, data entry of vendor invoices, mail checks to vendors, investigate and report vendor account discrepancies.

General Duties: organization and management of electronic files; periodically assist administrative staff; other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable role.
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office- Excel, Word, and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat DC, Deltek Ajera or other job cost accounting software.
  • Highly organized, efficient, with excellent attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communicator with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work individually and to interact internally and externally, as the duties require.

ACCOUNTING CLERK WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time Accounting Clerk position typically works Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00PM, with some overtime as needed.
