What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive Accounts Receivable Collections: Take ownership of collections, follow up with clients professionally, and find satisfaction in resolving challenges.
• Connect Operations and Finance: Collaborate with technicians and dispatch to ensure work orders are properly closed and invoiced.
• Partner with Sales: Streamline invoicing and collections processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure Accuracy and Speed: Generate and send precise invoices, process vendor invoices, and keep workflows moving.
• Maintain Financial Health: Reconcile accounts and credit cards, resolve discrepancies, and keep records clean and reliable.
• Support the Business: Assist with reporting, dashboard maintenance, and ad hoc requests that keep our decision-making sharp.
• Track Performance: Monitor KPIs and provide insights that help the team stay ahead of issues.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of accounting experience (construction, trades, or job-costing background is a big plus).
• Comfort with Excel and Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive).
• Experience in ERP systems like Jonas is an asset, but not required.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized, with strong follow-up skills.
• Someone who understands accounting is about more than spreadsheets — it’s about communication, problem-solving, and making the business run smoother.
