What You’ll Be Doing:

As a B2B Pro Sales Representative, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting, developing, and growing a book of business across the Michigan territory.
  • Building relationships with flooring installers, contractors, flippers, developers, restoration companies, and other trade partners.
  • Generating opportunities through field activity, store visits, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Quoting and selling flooring materials and installation services, primarily as a combined package.
  • Developing new business in the Detroit Metro area while expanding relationships across Lansing, Grand Rapids, and surrounding markets.
  • Coordinating with internal operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to scheduling and installation.
  • Tracking pipeline, activity, and next steps in the CRM.
  • Representing the company professionally at stores, job sites, partner locations, and customer meetings.
  • Staying organized while managing multiple opportunities across a large territory.
What You Bring:
  • B2B Sales Experience: Experience in flooring, construction, remodeling, restoration, home services, or related trades.
  • Hunter Mindset: Confidence creating your own pipeline and staying active daily.
  • Flooring or Trade Knowledge: Ability to speak credibly about flooring products, installation, contractors, and job-site needs. Practical flooring knowledge is a strong advantage.
  • Strong Communication: Consistent follow-through and comfort managing multiple opportunities at once.
  • CRM Comfort: Basic CRM proficiency and comfort with email, quoting, and routine reporting.
  • Driving Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Territory Readiness: Comfort driving a territory that includes Detroit Metro, Lansing, Grand Rapids, and surrounding Michigan markets.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to manage your schedule without needing constant oversight.
Work Setup and Schedule:
  • Mostly field-based across the Michigan territory.
  • Some office time as needed.
