Senior Estimator

This is an excellent opportunity to join Cumar, a respected natural stone company known for beautiful work in marble and other premium materials for luxury homes.

• High End, Custom Work: Estimate premium residential projects involving marble and other natural stone applications, including countertops, fireplaces, bathrooms, walls, ceilings, and other architectural features.
• Meaningful Project Size: Typical jobs range from $100,000 to $500,000, with occasional million dollar projects as well.
• Focused Estimating Role: This is a true estimating seat, not a project management role.
• Flexible Work Setup: Everett-based company, with full remote flexibility for the right person.
• Strong Team Environment: Work closely with sales, project management, and CAD in a collaborative company that takes pride in craftsmanship and strong relationships.
• Compensation and Benefits: $70,000 to $95,000, depending on experience, plus health insurance, vacation, holidays, 401(k), and a slightly flexible schedule.

• →Review architectural plans, drawings, and specifications to build accurate takeoffs and estimates for complex residential projects.
• →Independently handle custom scope across a wide range of natural stone applications, from kitchens and baths to fireplaces, feature walls, ceilings, and other specialty work.
• →Use Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Measure Square, or similar tools to quantify scope and support clear, accurate pricing.
• →Partner with sales, project management, and the CAD team to clarify details, align scope, and support smooth project handoff after award.
• →Manage estimates for projects with real complexity, high expectations, and substantial value.

• Significant estimating experience in complex, custom construction work.
• A strong background in high end or luxury residential estimating.
• The ability to read and handle complex plans independently.
• Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Measure Square, or similar takeoff and estimating software.
• A careful, organized approach to scope review, pricing, and detail management.
• Stone or marble estimating experience is preferred.
• Experience estimating millwork, cabinetry, tile, or similar custom finish scopes is preferred.
