Operations Clerk

Company: Brown Foodservice, Inc.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $12–$13 per hour

Join a team that has been delivering quality food service since 1942. As an Operations Clerk, you’ll play a key role in supporting transportation and warehouse operations through reporting, coordination, and administrative tasks.

• →Complete daily reports and filing, including:
  • →Morning Trans Report
  • →DVIR Report
  • →Backhaul Report
  • →POD Usage Report
• →Track and post warehouse and transportation KPIs on communication boards
• →Provide daily Hours of Service (HOS) snapshots to Transportation Management
• →Audit Cintas billing and review findings with management
• →Verify time and attendance records (punch validation only)
• →Submit payroll exception emails
• →Prepare weekly driver incentive reports
• →Verify credited items scanned via Target and communicate updates
• →Maintain and update driver and warehouse communication boards, including safety scoreboards
• →Organize Ryder bills for weekly management approval
• →Order diesel, DEF, and supplies (Uline & Grainger) as needed
• →Assist with Dispatch Track pre-work
• →Answer incoming calls in the transportation office
• →Perform general Samsara system maintenance
• →Monitor fleet vehicles and coordinate maintenance scheduling
• →Support inbound scheduling (future responsibility)

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse, tablet, scanner)
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and calmly in a fast-paced environment
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Must pass a background check and drug screening

• GDP training, including:
  • Personnel practices
  • Storage and sanitation
  • Receiving and distribution
  • HACCP standards
