The Hampton Campus of Bryant & Stratton College is accepting applications for an Adjunct Professor to teach Philosophy courses (critical thinking, logic, reasoning, and ethics).
Responsibilities

- →Fosters academic excellence in teaching and learning.
- →Instruct students in accordance with College policies/curricula.
- →Effectively prepares for class and encourages students to participate in College activities.
- →Supports College extracurricular functions.
- →Remains current in the teaching field through professional development.
- →Prepares and submits Beginning-of-Term and, End-of-Term paperwork in a timely fashion.
- →Coordinates student internships and assists in recruiting internship sites.
- →Promotes campus activities.
- →Provides instruction for day, evening, and/or weekend classes.
- →Provides instruction in face-to-face, virtual, online, and blended modalities.
- →Maintains technological proficiency, including Microsoft products (Outlook and Teams) and Learning Management Systems (Blackboard).
Requirements

- 1-3 years of teaching experience is preferred.
- Ability to interact and work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Leadership, integrity, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
COMPENSATION: Paid via Adjunct Contract: range $2,400-2,600 per a 3-contact hour course for a 15-week semester

The selected candidate’s actual base pay for this role will take into account a wide range of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At Bryant & Stratton College, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
