Bryant & Stratton College’s Information Technology Coordinator (IT Coordinator) is responsible for administering the administrative and academic local area networks, evening IT operations, maintain user accounts, e-mail addresses, and computer lab maintenance and preparation. In addition, the IT Coordinator should exhibit excellent customer service skills.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Provides excellent customer service and general IT support to students and employees. Answers customer requests by handling support tickets, emails, phone calls, and voicemails.  Provides helpdesk support for all students, faculty, and staff.
  2. Repairs broken computer hardware by replacing parts or contact service company. Maintains printers and copiers by clearing paper jams and replacing toner.
  3. Oversee and perform hardware and software installs. Installs new software on computers and make sure to meet staffing needs.
  4. Maintains asset inventory.
  5. Manages user and e-mail accounts for students and employees using Microsoft Active Directory.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in information technology / computer science or closely related field or equivalent combination of IT certifications.  Bachelor's degree preferred.  
  • 1-3 years related experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications; Strong experience with Windows platform required; Experience with Macintosh platform
  • Phone Skills: Ability to communicate with students, faculty, and administration
  • Some experience in Help Desk Technical Support.

 

SALARY:  

$48,000 - $53,000 ($23.08 - $25.48 per hour)  

This position is eligible for overtime.

The selected candidate’s actual base pay for this role will take into account a wide range of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At Bryant & Stratton College, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.
